This is my first of many posts using Heirloom Traditions Paint. I am in love with it. I now carry it in my booth “Inspired to Restore” at Chic & Shabby Collections downtown Franklin or you can order it directly here: Heirloom Traditions Paint and have it shipped directly to your doorstep.
I was in a hurry to get this party started that I almost forgot to take the before picture.
Here she is. A pretty french desk. I remember these growing up. This style has been around for a long time. I love the curved legs and the outline of the drawers. I left the pulls as they were, I think they look just fine.
I decided to use Black Bean on her. I looked at images of this same desk painted and loved the look of it in black. Black is just classic, it goes with everything!
One of the reasons I love this paint is that it is thick right out of the can. I find it covers very well. This desk only took one pint. That’s another reason I started carrying this brand. Some jobs don’t require a whole quart. I love the option of buying a pint.
After I painted with Black bean, to seal and protect the finish I used our Top Coat. It’s just the right coverage to seal and protect.
And here she is. Ready to find her new home.
