So my big news is that I’m going to have a space inside Rooster’s Antiques and Home Decor in Lafayette! I thought about opening a new shop in Youngsville, but I’m just not ready for that. I met with Angie, one of the owners and she was so nice and helpful. I can’t wait to set up shop there. I’ll be moving in September 1st so please be sure to come visit my space there.
These are the owners Angie and Chico Vega. I can’t wait to work with them!
Thanks to all of you who have been following along on my journey. This is my first booth space at Chic & Shabby Collections in Franklin. I learned so much there and my small business has continued to evolve over time.
It was at that time, I started selling lines of Chalk paint and holding furniture painting workshops.
This picture was taken right before I left Chic & Shabby.
After Chic & Shabby I decided to open a brick and mortar with Kathy Latiolais who was also a vendor at Chic & Shabby.
We were excited about being a part of the revitalization of the downtown area in Franklin. Holly Robicheaux and Toni Young were with us from the beginning.
I told Kathy I’d commit to 3 years. At the end of the three years my youngest child, Avery would be graduating high school and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do after that. Little did I know back then that we would decide to build a home in Youngsville and would be moving there the same month that Avery moved out.
I had fun working at The French Door. I started my custom furniture painting business there and got to know many of you.
Again my spaces there evolved over time.
I also had my photography booth there too.
Now on to my new venture. This will be my space at Roosters. This is what it looks like now. It will be repainted white and then after that, it will be time to move in and make it my own.
This is the wall directly as you walk in the room.
This is the wall to the left.
This is the wall to the right.
I can’t wait to move in and create a space for you to shop!
